β β β β β Asked for a pack of specific cigarettes. They charged me and gave me the wrong pack, then said they didnβt have the ones I wanted.(shouldβve told me before charging me that they didnβt have the product??)
Then they βrefundedβ me. They just voided the transaction on their machine. They didnβt ask for my card or anything and obviously I didnβt get the refund . I asked and told them but they ignored me. Basically, this 7-11 straight up stole 16$ from me. Stay awayβ¦stay far away

β β β β β I came to the market to buy cigarettes between 4.00-4.30 yesterday. When it was my turn, the cashier asked me to see my ID so I could buy cigarettes. So I showed my ID to the female cashier. Since I am not a Canadian citizen, she asked me to show my face and that the ID was not enough. After showing my face, she said that it was not enough and asked to see my passport. I said you don't have the authority to look at my passport. She said she wouldn't give me cigarettes without looking at my passport. I opened my passport picture from my phone and showed it. Then she said she wanted to see my Canada visa this is insane and racist. I did research today, no cashier can request a visa and passport, this is against privacy and Canadian laws. This is clearly racist because yesterday I was only asked for a passport and visa.

β β β β β Terrible staff who don't have basic social skills
Your socially challenged staff care more about making sure my 20 pound dog stays outside than making a sale. We live in a dog friendly city and this is not a location people drive to and park a vehicle where their dogs can wait, and you have no hitching posts for dogs available outside your store. Do better.
Most of your staff do not enforce your "no dogs" policy, and are happy to see my dog when I come in to grab drinks.
Your staff need to enforce this store entry requirement all the time, or not at all.
What if I had a service dog? I hadn't even made it through the door before your staff yelled at me to leave. I hope he is fired. He shouldnt be working in a customer facing job.
