225 Carlton is a great building to live, it has access to the skywalk with it’s great when it’s cold outside.

I want to offer a sincere warning to all potential tenants. This building is horribly mismanaged. There is constant noise, drilling, construction and hammering at all hours of the day and night. The management staff is pushy, insistent and unaccommodating. In one short year, I have seen the quality and service of this building decline at an extraordinary pace. I've never seen anything like it. I had high hopes when I initially moved in. Each month is worse than the previous. I would never have expected this place to crash and burn as quickly as it has. Avoid. You will regret it if you don't.

Can say this is our favourite apartment yet. From the start when I inquired about the suites, Madelena from Leasing was very helpful. The move-in was smooth. Suites were clean, amenities were beautiful. We were able to host a beautiful wedding renewal on the 25th floor party and rooftop space, as well as the gym was the biggest apartment gym- complete with anything you need and a yoga room. Also, things were slowly going back to normal in the nearby spaces like Hargrave St. Market. If you are worried about downtown, one of the security guards can walk you to where you're going too. Special shout out to the Concierge who were beyond excellent : Andrew and Wajiha go above and beyond. Sadly we had to move to another city but I really recommend this space.

I have lived at 225 Carlton since June of 2021. So far, I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. The move in process was very smooth and I was pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and assistance of the concierge team. They are all super friendly and are an often overlooked advantage of living in this building. In terms of day to day living, I’m convinced there is no better spot in the city. The central location means you’re close to everything. For those who attend Jets or Moose home games, it’s a short indoor walk via the skywalk to Canada Life Centre. No more stashing your jacket under your seat! Additionally, there is always great energy in the True North Square area. Hargrave St. Market has a cool atmosphere, and whenever there is an event at Canada Life Centre the square truly comes to life. Mottola Grocery often stocks unique and rare items, and they have great coffee. Lastly, the suite of amenities is unmatched. From the 25th floor lounge to the rooftop patio to the fully equipped gym, this building has everything you could ever need. Appliances are all brand new and the units all have big windows that offer spectacular views. This place is a true gem!

Moved here in Aug 2019 and so glad I did! With all amenities within walking distance and access through the skywalks in the winter, living here has created an ideal place for me to enjoy all that downtown has to offer. All the staff at 225 are beyond helpful and it's nice to know that when issues arise, their number 1 priority are their residents.

225 is a great place to live downtown. It has great amenities (gym, rooftop common space, delivery lockers) and is closed to fantastic downtown attractions. As Winnipeg opens up more events are being held in the building, such as Jets watch party, affording a community atmosphere in the building.

Nice building, some great staff. It has had its issues and sometimes they try to fix them. If you live on the side facing the square, the office lights make your apartment feel like daytime at night. They should’ve installed black-out curtains instead of see-through blinds. You’re also going to hear loud construction from the new True North building going up from 5AM to 10PM (PCL construction knows they’re breaking city bylaws, they just don’t care). There is also a dog that howls constantly and the building has been informed several times over the last year. They said it was taken care of. It it is still happening. They even told the resident who had complained about it so they approached us in public. Super unprofessional. If you have any trouble sleeping through light and noise, or get distracted when working from home, this is not the place for you. I have sound cancelling headphones and they don’t block out the noise. I’ve also tried silicone ear plugs, they don’t work. My husband really likes this place because he sleeps through anything and doesn’t work from home. It definitely has perks (like hargrave st market and being able to walk to jets games inside), I just can’t enjoy them because I’m exhausted.

I have been living at 225 Carlton since March 2020. I picked this place because it is so close to my work and I didn't have to deal with commuting. The best place about 225 is the people who work at 225 Carlton. Lena and Leesa from the leasing office are very personable and friendly. The concierge Andrew and Wajiha are very professional, easy to communicate with and are very helpful. Also the service people are amazing, friendly and professional, Sam, Ed and Mark are great. I do like the location, not because its so close to work but its close to the Canada Life Centre, and various restaurants in the area. I get my groceries and items delivered to me downtown and I don't own a vehicle. There is a convenient locker to store our deliveries on the main floor. Even though in the past year there has been disruptions to the tenants such as flooding, heating/ventilation problems, noises from constructions, Leasing Management have gone out of their way to help the tenants. However, the noise level from each suites leaks over to other suites and the noise level has to be kept to a minimum. Some of the security personnel on site are friendly and keep the area safe for the tenants. I would like to see more events (There are some events now) and would like to see a tenant committee with a representative from the leasing office to organize tenant events. However, I have enjoyed living in 225 Carlton and I will continue to stay here. The building is pet friendly for people who loves pets.
