Great rates, quick to fix issues when needed, and my building is quiet, clean, affordable. My family is very happy here. EDIT: A year later and I am still very happy with our home. Kudos to Avenue Living; Kayla, Terra, Chad, Renee....the list goes on! Thanks for the continued upkeep of the buildings and for paving the parking lots. Place looks great! Also to our landlord Robyn, thanks for being awesome and handling any questions I or prospective tenants may have. Keep up the great work!

These guys were amazing! I viewed, applied, and moved in all in the same day. PLUS the unit I chose had a big mess and the cleaning lady cleaned it up so fast and good when I was moving it I couldn't tell there was ever a mess.

18 allanbrooke drive. Atrocious quality of living. Took months to fix a hole in the ceiling of the communal hallway that was leaking water almost every night. ONTO CARPET. Knobs for bathroom faucet need to be serviced monthly as to not constantly drip hot water, lights flicker in bathroom and kitchen, advertisements said air-conditioning but there is only a baseboard heater. Windows not insulated in the slightest. "Newly renovated" but what they don't tell you is that these renovations were all aesthetic,,, and poorly done. Wood cupboards were warped from day one. Bathroom sink and bathtub drain needed to be cleaned out the day after I moved in to drain properly. Genuinely surprised this place is allowed to be open. The "cleaners" that cleaned before I moved in left me a stained tub to clean up too, and the residents are loud, not only loud but aggressive and confrontational when asked nicely to keep down. I will never rent from these slumlords again. Not anywhere. I'd rather be couch hopping.

Within one week of moving in, 3 days with no water pressure and on 7th day I woke up to a leak under my sink and brown stinky water on my kitchen floor. The whole apartment stinks. Also can't control heat. No matter how low I turn down the heat, the radiator pours out HEAT! Can't get a decent night's sleep. I've been an apartment manager in the past. Some landlords understand the concept of 'maintenance', others only repair when things go horribly wrong and it affects the almighty dollar. I'm beginning to wonder just where Avenue Living stands on the matter. Glad I signed a six month lease. Wish I could break it. Will not renew. Will not recommend. To their credit, repairman came this morning within 1/2 hour of my call. Hopefully, he knows what he is doing. (I don't think he's actually a plumber). I believe each apartment should be THOROUGHLY checked out, plumbing, electrical etc. before renting it out rather than leaving it to the new tenant to find the faults. Not at all sure Avenue Living agrees. UPDATE: It is now April 2. I have had 3 workmen visit my apt. a number of times to repair the heating issue, in the midst of a pandemic, sometimes unmasked, in every room of my home. It is still unresolved. I am 75 years old, unwell and vulnerable, unable to have a vaccine to protect me. The heating issue existed BEFORE I moved in. The apartment was stifling hot the day I moved in. The issue should have been detected and repaired before renting the apartment out. That is a term of the lease. I have been in isolation for a year with no end in sight. A patio is crucial to me. I would never have rented an apartment without a patio or balcony. I am in isolation and need this small, private, safe outdoor space. When the snow melted I found the patio covered with mold-infested, glued-down indoor carpet remnants. I requested the carpet be removed. Now my patio looks as though there was an earthquake with a deep crack running down the middle of my entire patio and lumps of poorly-placed cement attempted repairs. The patio is unusable. Mr. Deryk Whyatt has told me that it is 'unfortunate' that these issues were not addressed before I moved in but that it's just too bad for me. They'll be fixed when they get fixed. No apology, no compensation, no ability to leave without financial penalty. My lease states: "A landlord must maintain rental property in a good state of repair and fit for the use and enjoyment of the tenant." My apartment was not in a good state of repair when I moved in. Avenue Living apparently doesn't believe they are obligated to live up to the terms of the lease. This is unacceptable at the best of times. During a deadly pandemic, to leave crucial repairs like heating undone, necessitating numerous visits by workmen, putting the health of their tenants at risk, is disgraceful. Mr. Deryk Whyatt has no shame. Avenue Living is a disreputable firm and should be avoided. MAY UPDATE: Heating still not repaired. Air conditioner still spewing black dust & debris, without a proper filter. Patio still looks like an earthquake hit. Water leaked from kitchen light fixture because of botched dishwasher repair upstairs. Kitchen ceiling light fixture filling with water. I have to plunge bathroom sink every few days to dislodge black debris. Spoke to a local mailman who tells me they hate entering Avenue Living buildings because of the filthy entry and corridors, he regularly hears complaints/stories of cockroaches, never-working buzzers, stinking hallways, appliances that are never repaired etc. etc. Avenue Living is a SLUM landlord. JUNE UPDATE: Nothing repaired. If you are considering renting from Avenue Living and are reading reviews, remember one thing: When push comes to shove, when there are issues that will impact Avenue Living's bottom line, money, they will put their interests ahead of the needs and comfort of their tenants every time. Believe this: You mean NOTHING to Avenue Living beyond what they take from your bank account at the first of the month, absolutely nothing.

I lived with Avenue Living in Yorkton for about four years.. I enjoyed living in my building. I had no problems. And if I did Kayla, Robyn and Deryk was on it.. I so greatly appreciate the hard work they did for me. Including maintenance staff.. 2020 was a difficult year for me. Robyn made sure to check up on me once a week, for a few months. Thank you, Robyn for looking out. Thank you, again to Kayla, Robyn, Jessica and Deryk for making my time living with Avenue Living great. ❤️

I've been living in apartments owned by Avenue Living since 2017. Any maintenance issues are addressed usually the day after I submit an online maintenance request, so I've never had any issues there. The building I'm currently in (Fietz) is very quiet and clean, I frequently see staff cleaning the hallways too. Overall a great experience. Robyn is wonderful to deal with as well!

Increased rent by $100 for lease renewal. Even we don't have air conditioning and buzzer for main door. I've checked another appartments with $900 for 2BHK with airconditioner, balcony, in-house laundry etc. Derek assured me to fix buzzer system within 3 months last year. And it's been 11 months gone already still nothing
