★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited this business last Friday April 2. Inside this space, the organizer of the space was not wearing a mask, neither were several of the vendors.
When I expressed my discomfort they told me that they do not believe in wearing masks and will be choosing not to, or requiring anyone else to.
I told them that it really sucks to not be able to support their business, because I support many aspects of their initiative, but cant support them not following public health orders.
Usually people shop around and visit more than one place in the Exchange, meaning this business is putting other small businesses in the neighborhood at risk too who are doing so much to keep themselves and others safe. I've spoken with several small business owners in the neighborhood who are aware of this and also feel put at extreme risk.
I would like to note there were vendors in the space who understood my concerns and were totally fine to wear masks. But the organizer and several vendors refuse to wear them.
