Spring cleanup was performed at my residence in May 2022. The work that was completed was done well, however, part of my spring package included power raking. This wasn’t completed and I called to ask why. Was told to use the email address. Sent photos and my concerns to the email. Received a reply stating they talked to their top lawn care specialist (or whatever title they give them) and they said the reason the service wasn’t done was because my grass was too damaged from the winter and they felt it would damage it further (the grass looked no different than any other spring). I take very good care of my yard throughout the year and I can tell you it wasn’t too damaged. Nobody called me to tell me they wouldn’t do that service. They just did the work and left the house. Had I not noticed and called an hour or two later I am confident nobody would’ve said a word. I emailed back and told them I thought that was a poor excuse and that someone should’ve discussed with me first. I asked for a PARTIAL refund for the work for only the portion that wasn’t completed. I feel it is fair to get my money back for a service I paid for and never received, nor had any say in whether or not it was done. I never received a single email back. I called and left a message and never got a call back. I sent a couple subsequent emails asking for a resolution and never once got a reply about the refund or ever even an offer to come and finish the service. Nothing. I did receive another email back though that said they spoke with their top lawn care person and they said it was a tough winter so I need to make sure I water 2-3 times a week. That’s it. Nothing else mentioned again. I already had a reply about the grass condition and had emailed about a refund and this is what I got back?!? I didn’t bother to tell them I have irrigation and it gets watered 3-4 days per week consistently. Their satisfaction guarantee means NOTHING to them. I am not being unreasonable asking for this partial refund. Very unprofessional not to reply and discuss the refund. I will be continually following up with them and will eventually go very public. So silly for a business to be this short sighted. But not doing something you have agreed to do in writing and then just deciding not to do it without consultation or refund (again- a partial refund, not full, as I have zero issue paying for the work that was performed) just isn’t right. There are better and more professional options out there.

I cannot say enough good things about this company! I hired them after I saw what a great job they did at my neighbor's. I needed snow removal for only one month. I believe the name of the person who did the snow removal was Dave. He showed up every snow fall on time and did an incredible job. There was an admin error and I was signed up for an additional month by mistake. At first, I was a bit upset thinking - "here it is, another subscription service that makes it impossible to cancel". I was so wrong. I phoned them as soon as the office was open and they effortlessly corrected the mistake and were so pleasant to deal with. I will absolutely reccomend and hire Yardly again when I need snow removal or yard work.

I couldn't be happier with the service I got from Yardly for my snow removal this winter. They were there after every snowfall without fail. They did a clean and efficient job of cleaning my driveway, front sidewalk, and front porch. I highly recommend this company.

I used Yardley for the first time to provide snow removal services. I was very pleased with their punctuality and quickness of getting snow removed! Any concerns or issues I had was addressed promptly and professionally. Will definitely use again next year! Thank you!

We ordered the service online, they charged ahead of time and set an appointment. They said give them 3 days window but it was 5 days and we couldn't get through the phone. On a Saturday, they came without notice and only do fertilizer the front of the neighbor's house even though we have the whole backyard and our front that they didn't even touch. The price is not crazy cheap but service is terrible. We then tried to call them and of course no one pick up the phone. DO NOT USE THIS TERRIBLE SERVICE

Summary: When the employees did show up the work was always excellent. Unfortunately the reliability and accountability was overall unsatisfactory. 2 stars given as when they did come out they worked hard and fast. We used Yardly for snow removal. Generally it was a good experience but on two separate occasions the snow was not removed promptly which is disappointing considering the premium you are paying for prompt snow removal "within 24 hours" . The first time it took about 3 days to have the snow removed and multiple email reminders to the company. They did apologize but did not offer any discount for the lapse in service (though did apply one when I specifically asked for it) The second time my wife and I emailed several times and called. We were told the problem was with their computer system. We were guaranteed the workers are aware that our property had not been cleared of snow and that it would be completed within 24 hours. The next day the property again was not cleared. I called once again and when I asked for assurances that it would not be missed again I was told "hopefully it will get done" but that if not I should just call back again in the morning. I have no problem with computer mistakes/other errors leading to delays in service but the fact that the company's solution was for us to just keep calling back everyday and reminding them is entirely unsatisfactory. I would not recommend this company. You are paying a premium price for quick snow removal and I would be worried about going on vacation and having my sidewalk covered in snow with nobody to remind them, or worse, the nightmare of somebody slipping on my snow covered property.

I decided to try Yardly for spring clean up this year as it seemed well rated and local. The scheduled service from their quote was to be by May 1st. We received service on May 12th after all our neighbours so we had a good comparison of local companies as well as our usual self service. For over 300$ the service was sub par in our opinion. We watched as they ran around not with care looking as though they were more concerned about quantity over quality and of course watching the Oilers game. The yard does not look complete. At least they could have mowed the lawn properly. Extremely disappointed and wish I had never spent a dime.

This is the first time I am giving least rating to a business. We hired Yardly back in December for snow removal services. During cold freeze and snow blizzard understand that the service levels were low but even in a plus temperature my driveway is covered with ice layer. I signed up for Elite package and the services I received is far far from what it states. I have called multiple times with no response from you and emailed you the pictures of my driveway and still no followup. Few days back I received a call from your rep Cindy and she placed a service order to have someone clean up the driveway and it's been 3 days and still nobody showed. This is the worst service I have received from a business in Edmonton. I even requested to know the process of canceling services I got no response.
