Only good things to say about my experience with yard hero!

Called in to get a quote and spoke to a gentleman named Neil . He was very kind and extremely knowledgeable . Didn’t know there were so many organic and chemical free ways to take care of a lawn . Very happy with the service and would highly recommend

My Wife and I got really sick right during the Snow storms at the end of January. Tim was a real hero for us making sure our walks were kept clean and safe for us. He did a great job communicating and a great job getting them clean. Thanks Tim!!!

Absolutely love this company! They are super professional! They do what they say they will and do it amazing! Have Absolutely no complaints! I believe their prices are more than fair and I will be using them again for my yard needs next year!

I asked Yard Hero's help to prepare an area to build a playset. They offered stone or rubber mulch options for the same price and we chose rubber mulch because it offers better protection. The playset builder came and said the rubber mulch is too soft to put the playset on, so they need to put it on the actual ground underneath the rubber mulch. However, the ground needs to be leveled for the playset to be used safely. I called Yard Hero and the rep said they don't know the ground needs to be leveled if we are using rubber mulch and said this is new to them and they are learning too. So they cannot do anything about it. Now I need to spend another $2000 to level the ground. If I was informed that rubber mulch would cost $2000 extra I would not have choose rubber mulch option. I am not happy paying $2000 for Yard Hero to learn their lesson. ======================== Re: Response from the owner I can't believe you still try to blame me. Please do not make things worse. Yard hero is the contractor that I rely on. Yard hero is well aware that I will build the playset on top of the mulch next, so the information about the exact services required should have been provided to me by Yard hero. The rubber mulch is leveled. You were not contracted to level the ground because you didn't know it is required. You didn't know it is required because you didn't know your product well. This would not have happened if we chose stone mulch in the first place. What you said is like if you contract me to build you a swimming pool, I helped you build one and you start swimming inside and you get sick. You find out you need to put chlorine in to kill the germs. You come to me and ask me why I didn't tell you to put chlorine in the water. But then I didn't know I need to add chlorine to the water too because I didn't know my product well. Instead of admitting my mistake, I say to you "you should have provided me exactly what creature is going to swim in the swimming pool". I did not ask for a refund or discount or anything because I know how hard it is to run a small business. I am willing to pay the $2000 for the misinformation that you provided due to your lack of knowledge about your product. I suggest you to admit that you do not know leveled rubber mulch is too soft to hold a playset, and make sure your next customer is well informed. It is okay to make mistake, what's important is to admit it and learn from it.

I had Yard Hero do some weed control for my grandfather and my mom since they were sick a little earlier this year. Yard Hero did a great job and their estimator (I think his name was Neil?) was super kind, knowledgeable, and my grandpa especially loved him. I can't wait to have him come back to quote them for snow removal!
