★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Calgary Airport is lacking for restaurants/businesses currently (as are most airports) but this restaurant in the Marriot in this airport terminal is excellent. They were efficient if you needed to leave but happy to let you stay leisurely. Definitely worth the visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This establishment features a wide open and inviting atmosphere with a comfortable contemporary feel. Samantha behind the bar was excellent; personable, attentive and efficient, everything you want from a bartender. All the house cocktails looked amazing and well developed.
I had the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl. It was decent. Everything felt under seasoned. The drizzle claimed to be sriracha, soy and sesame mayo... The flavours were quite muted, but perhaps that's what you get when you have to try to cater to a vast range of clientele.
I will be back to try some more food, for sure. If you're able to afford airport prices, I do recommend checking this spot out - located at the Marriott.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met my parents here during their layover. The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant itself was well laid out and felt welcoming. The brisket sliders were incredible -- cooked perfectly and the ratios of the toppings were fantastic. Each bite was balanced well with the cheese and arugula. The charcuterie board was slightly disappointing. Each individual item on the board was delicious, however our critique would be that it was dry. An additional sauce would help balance out the dryness, especially since the mustard was very grainy -- which is as described, and still tasty! But a little more moisture would be nice. Overall a very nice experience, don't sleep on the caesar salad!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a long delay for our flight and we were surprised to find this affordable restaurant in the airport. We had the baked Brie to start which was terrific! My wife had the mushroom VF flatbread was tasty and filling. She found the rosemary a little overpowering and would remove it next time. I had the pull pork and elk sandwich and it was delicious! The fries were hand cut and very good too. Recommend this restaurant if you want to eat something other than fast food haha. Located pre-security right beside the Marriott.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We decided to check out this spot during our layover in Calgary and I must say, I was quite impressed. We ordered the steak sandwich with green salad, braised pulled pork and elk burger with fries, and the sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream. Super tasty, generous portions and overall great quality food. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

Highly recommend the Bison ribeye, best steak I’ve had this year
The Smoked old fashioned is a must for the whiskey drinkers.
Also if you haven’t heard Alex Hughes on Thursday night- Amazing. Better come hear her before she’s selling out stadiums

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was good and our waiter was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were really good. I ordered a pizza and I’m usually easy to please but just was just not good at all. I ate it because there was no alternative in the airport at that time. The dough was similar to what you might find in a child’s lunchable - dry and tasteless. The fresh tomatoes and basil was a nice touch. 4 stars though because everything else was fine
