Ernest Chissell's career as a machinist began in England, where he learned from an early age, the importance of craftsmanship and quality. Ernest and wife Helen, immigrated to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1962. Ernest had an entrepreneurial vision of opening his own machine shop and being his own boss. Wynn Machine & Manufacturing Ltd. was founded, and began operation in 1976 as a one man machine shop. After several south side locations, Wynn Machine is presently located at 5713 – 94A Street, Edmonton, AB, Canada and has been growing at this location for the past 35 years, employing over 25 people.
Wynn Machine is a jobbing shop that can run one offs or full production lines and can provide custom work as well. Most of the work performed is for the oil and gas industry but we are not restricted to this field.

Wynn understands the importance of supporting not only the city in which it operates, but the entire province. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is more of an customer service review since my problem was a complicated-for-me, but trivial-for-Wynn type job.
I needed a stuck-screw drilled out for what was supposed to be an easy pilot assembly replacement for my hot water heater. They obviously don't do this kind of thing as they primarily deal with industrial applications. Regardless, Paul said to bring it in and they'll take a look.
They had it fixed in no time at all and didn't even charge me!
So, coffee's on me, and thank you so much guys. I greatly appreciate your help!
