Wow Wings

Slow serving times, we thought the waitress had gone home at one point because we hadn’t seen her in a until the end of our meal. Lazy cook, puts wings in basket and dumps sauce instead of tossing them. Our sauce broke through the paper in the wicker baskets and dripped all over the table. I ordered honey ranch my friend ordered honey garlic with parm. They were both the same. My other friend ordered boneless and got bones despite brining this up to the waitress who replied “where did you get those prices” and we said uhm the menu ? Also the cook said he was well aware of the fact that he messed up the order. Now mistakes happen but that many ? With only 3 tables sitting in the whole restaurant? Pathetic

Really enjoy the wings here and there is a large selection to choose from each time. However, the website has been 'under construction' for over a month and makes it really hard to refer to if ordering take-out. I would really love for that to be finished so I can order without a long questioning period to the servers answering the phone :(

I tried "Korean flavored chicken wings" and Maclean beer. It really made me WOW. ;) Chicken wings were the best chicken wings I tried for a long time. and the beer was awesome smooth and sooooo nice. Also, staff was so kind with smile. I wanted to go back again but Covid lockdown began. I'm waiting and waiting.

Tried this place when first opened. Not good. Returned a couple of weeks ago for pint and pound deal and learned under new management. Wings were excellent - crispy, juicy, and nicely flavored. BUT, confused about hours. Went for a wing feast before covid shutdown. Was not open. Please, when you reopen, have consistent hours.

My husband & 3 kids, 2 under 3 went out to dinner tonight and chose WOW! Wings because of the wing selection, our waitress Dawn, went above and beyond for us, and was so accommodating for our kids, and everything we needed. The food was spectacular as always, and we’ll worth the price.

Wow!!! Not. We were a group of 6 and one of 3 tables. Only 1waitress which I understand because it’s hard to find help these days. Regardless, the cook came out of the kitchen to take our drink & food order. The waitress sat behind the bar. In the meantime the third table entered. After a 1/2 hour, I realized that the waitress was finally taking their order. Shortly after that the second cook delivered our food, which turned out to be warm but nowhere near hot. The food was good but obviously sat for sometime before being served to our table. We had to get up and get our own silverware and napkins and were never offered refills on our drinks. We did send one meal back because of cold fries. Again the waitress sat at the till. If you aren’t feeling well stay home. When going out for a meal, it is with the intention of good service, hot food and the hope that you would be made to feel welcome. Won’t be going back anytime soon. Btw the third table had to get up, find their own silverware and napkins. Pretty sure they won’t be going back either

We found out these guys opened up the back and put in a bar, more tables, and pool tables! This ended up being our first visit.. Fabulous experience! It won't be our last. The servers were amazing! Our meals were delivered in great time, super yummy as we were told they'd be, and we ordered again to take home! We'll definitely be back! Can't wait! Thursday night Karaoke should be a blast!

So I'm quite conflicted on how to review our most recent experience here, so where I'll start is that if we had just gone for wings - my rating would be a solid 5/5. Wings are their core business. My husband and I both had wings and felt they were excellent. I had pineapple curry and it was the best wing sauce I've ever eaten. They were crispy and fresh, meat came off the bone, and they were sauced really well. We would go back for wings anytime. That being said, our overall experience wasn't great. Service was good, and the one server working was trying really hard to take good care of everyone. But similar to many other/most other businesses right now, it is clear that they need more staff. We started with chicken nachos which were really good! Not too much of anything, good amount of sauces. Everyone ordered something a bit different - my mom got a salad, my dad got pasta, and my grandma got a chicken burger. The wrong salad came for my mom, but the server was quick to fix it. My grandma enjoyed her chicken burger which came with a huge portion of fries. However, she had originally ordered a pizza and root beer, both of which were on the menu but not available. One quick piece of feedback would be to mark off/cross off things that aren't available on the menus instead of letting customers know after they've ordered. I also think the rating scale for wing sauce is unnecessarily confusing. My dad seemed to enjoy his pasta, but was disappointed in the limited options for beer. As I mentioned, my husband and I both really enjoyed our wings, but I had also ordered battered mushrooms which never came. Lots of highs and a couple of fixable lows. Would go back as we really enjoyed our wings and that's what they're known for.
