My rep changed my portfolio every single year (full on divestment then transferral to some other fund), refused to return calls, had no explanation for all the poor performance (usually negative returns), and blocked my access to my own online portal where I could view my investments). I have opened a complaint file with the OSC and I am still wondering if I’ll EVER see my money again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible company to work with and be part of. I was with them for 10 years and resigned 10 years ago. I was recently contacted by a collection agency saying they are collecting on behalf of WFG and I owe WFG money. Over the past 10 years, I never received a statement or any notifications that I owe them money. There was no actions taken against me by WFG, yet after 10 years, they are harassing me for a debt that I have no clue about. They have done a horrible job helping families. They are bunch of product pushers with no knowledge about financial planning and push UL insurance and leveraging to everyone.
