β β β β β WorkBC is one of the best resources and one of the best government services available if you are making a change in your career, or if you are a new comer. Staff here at the Metrotown centre are great! They are very resourceful and they really care about you. They helped me get through my career transition, as well as the hardship due to the pandemic. I'm very grateful, and I will definitely recommend them to people I know that have similar struggles.

β β β β β I am so lucky to have met my case manager, Sophia Yang, who has been so helpful and gone above and beyond to help me through this difficult time. She has encouraged me to follow my goals and looked for any opportunity to help me along the way. She did a marvelous job in helping me to embark on a new career. WorkBC at Centre Metrotown is an excellent resource centre for people who need assistance in job search. They provide me helpful workshops including one-on-one resume cover letter coaching, mock interview and much more. All of the people work there are friendly, helpful and professional.

β β β β β A big thank you to Work BC Metrotown and particularly Giggs Subsermsri for all the assistance and empowerment I got. You were super helpful in landing me into the career that I am in now. Giggs assisted me from scratch as a new immigrant, directed me towards valuable resources and opportunities when I was at my most vulnerable place here in B.C. I feel empowered as all that effort led to my new career and current level of comfort.
Giggs gave me relevant and consistent guidance where I knew nothing about this place, and i am forever grateful. Giggs communicates so well, very professional and very respectful. Very patient too. He listened with compassion, empathy and without judgement throughout my journey. Thank you Giggs, thank you Work BC!

β β β β β A big thanks for all the staff that helped me a few years ago. Right from the first person I met....'Jazz' in the reception area, she was amazing....helping me with the computer and my WORKBC account and other things. Wendy helped me with my resume. Joe helping me with my approach/direction and my specialized issues. Christopher and Subrath being my Specialized Employment Consultants. These guys became my "super-stars" for over a year and more. I really liked the school/Learning/topics meetings. I can't remember her name, but the Instructor was very good. They ALL helped me to get back to work with my first job since my brain injury !!! THANK YOU EVERYONE! I will remember you forever and will always refer to anyone needs help with their next job and advise. They are very professional and they are there to help us!

β β β β β WorkBC Burnaby Metrotown is one of the best Employment Services Centres. Metrotown- WorkBC is headed by a good leader, who actively get engaged with the team. Counselors at Metrotown- WorkBC have genuine interest about our(clients) success. Thanks to Ms.Ada's Resume Writing techniques, both of us managed to secure jobs easily. Even one of the peers in our group said he found this Metrotown center very friendly and effective.

β β β β β WorkBC is amazing. I connected with them after loosing my job and they helped me to go back to school. The continued support has been amazing. When I was in need of a laptop one was provided for me. I have been looking for work and the encouragement I have received has been wonderful. I tell everyone I meet about WorkBC, the programs they offer and the support they have given me. I would love to one day work here so I can encourage/support/guide people to their ideal career.
