★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I only called to ask about the dates we are thinking about for a vacation . We attempted to call the number provided a rapid beep was all we received. Once we finally got ahold of a live person she was very rude. FYI

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just perfect if you want simple accommodation in a stunning peaceful location. The owners really look after you, are so interesting to talk to and have put their heart and soul into making each cabin special. From their website we couldn't gauge what it was like but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The bamfield community is irreplaceable. There are so many stunning beaches to explore! If you love exploring then this is a great spot! Each cabin has all you need for a family. We shall be coming again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked our trip through Air bnb. When we arrived, we discovered that there was no vehicle access to the site - at no point were we given the heads up about this - but we sorted out a water taxi and got over. We were greeted, and had help with our luggage to our cabin. That's where the hospitality ended. We were never given a key to our cabin, so we had no ability to lock our things up and had to pack them around with us. By the second day, another guest had informed us that the caretaker had left and we were on our own. When it came time to check out, no one was there. No one in the office, no one to call a water taxi, no one to help carry bags down to the dock. I truly worried about what would have happened if there was a medical emergency, since there was no cell reception, and no water taxis after 6 pm. It was a beautiful place, quaint csbins, and a gorgeous area to explore, but this place is horribly managed and until that improves I consider this an unsafe place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed here for several nights in August of 2018. I cannot say a bad thing about this place. The cabins are rustic but immaculate! the dock is in great shape with lots of great fish cleaning stations. The hosts are really helpful and seem like great people. I cannot wait to come back!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Woods End Landing seems like a good lodge to stay in the remote reaches of the west coast small town of Bamfield. It looked exactly as its name implied, a rustic bungalow inside the thickets of the rain forest of Pacific west coast. Though we did not stay here I give it a four star rating based on its appearance and location. We saw the place in August 2019.
