★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Washrooms are not modern. They are archaic and there is a boil water order advisory from the year 2000 still in affect from the local Health Authority. They are disgusting. The picnic tables at each site are rotten and falling apart dangerous to sit on and unhealthy to eat off of. The old growth trees in the park are falling down with each wind storm and appears to be a very dangerous situation in most sites. You have to be very careful when pulling through the campground as branches left untrimmed can damage your trailer or motorhome. It turns out its illegal to catch and keep the brook trout from the nearby river; very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I haven't visited Wolf River Campground for seriously over forty years. As I'm sure that it has changed more than I'd ever think possible, it was GREAT when I was a wee lad. The biggest thing I remember is when my mom drove me and my dad to a spot upriver, then my dad and I spent the whole day walking downriver, fishing, and eating the trout we caught on the way for lunch and dinner. One of the best memories I have of my dad. He died eighteen years ago.
