★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watch out for tree leafs which may fall on the ice. You might trip. But more importantly, watch our for the horrendous *&$&#@ $100.00 PARKING TICKETS ? issued on the nearby streets. (Ex. On Carlaw Ave). The City has a sneaky (!) way of allowing parking on many sections of the streets but some small spots (which look totally legit) get ticketed at a totally dishonest rate. If you expect a $30 ticket, your jaw will drop when you see ?. So that is my rant for the day. And because of that, I might avoid that rink when I have other options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ice rink staff are very uninformed. They give people miss information about the reservations and rules for skating. Not mentioning they have very bad atitude and almost always they are rude when answering questions. It’s like they are been forced to be there, working and answering people’s questions, very unpleasant to see, not only with me, because I’m done asking information to those guys. Mostly they don’t come out to check on people in the rink and I have seen people getting hurt twice because kids are running all over the place playing tag and bumping other people from behind, making them fall. Other kids take all blue “skate trainer” not to train but to throw on each other or riding on the top like a toy. By the way they are all broken or cracked because these same staff don’t give a damn for anything. Shame because it could be a very beautiful experience for the whole family specially in these times.
