As I walked into the store today, the older woman working yelled across the store β€œexcuse me you are going to have to wait outside” I totally understand restrictions with the pandemic on number of people in the store, however yelling that was very rude. Had she asked nicely or said β€œwe are at capacity right now, would you please wait outside” that would be totally understandable. I want to support this organization as I believe it’s wonderful, but the staff need to treat customers with a little more respect.

This store is way over priced. I went looking for cheap frames just so I could frame some pressed flowers. I spent $10 on the frames and they were the cheapest, beat up scratched peeling, nothing I would use for display. Also the tank tops that sell for $3 bran new are $7.99. I understand you need to make money to help women however as a single mom I would shop at Walmart. Better quality and cheaper

GREAT SELECTION, QUICK TURN OVER This is a good WINS location with lots of selection and quality items for being such a small store. It is organized though very full and has many items from kitchen, clothing, shoes, and bags. I suggest other larger locations for furniture and more house hold items. The staff are friendly and helpful, it always seems busy when I am there but they are able to keep lines moving. I feel much better about taking my items here rather than other big name secondhand stores because I know this company actually does good in the community rather than donate 10c per item that they could turn around and sell for 35$ like other stores. Check back often if you have a specific item you are looking for. Keep your receipt if the item is electric or something you may find doesn't work for you. They are very good about returns.

Why girls and I love to thrift, and when we go on our rounds, WINS, this location, always makes the list! Last time I went they had some crazy sale prices and I walked away with an amazing haul, including a summer dress and scarf, right off the manikin ;) , these lovely bride coloured pencil sketches and frames in the prettiest of greg, accented with gold (see picture), toss pillows from Pier One, one still with prices tags, this amazing vase, hand made with a variety of red glass with hues of gold, textured, very elegant, made in India (so was the scarf, very pretty). maybe something else, idk, but to all came to $22.50. wow!

This happened recently ( March 2022). I gave my mom drinking glasses to donate to WINS. They were in excellent condition, & about 18 of them. The boxes were marked with large lettering FRAGILE. A woman working there (who my mom did not recognize as a regular employee), took the boxes & threw them, along with everything else people had donated! My mom said to her β€œwell, they’re probably broken now”. The woman mumbled something under her breath. We’re giving you something of value, for FREE, so PLEASE be respectful of other people, & their generosity. All of those beautiful drinking glasses, I’m sure are garbage now, as they would have surely broken.

This store is a WIN ! How can you go wrong when helping a charity and other woman who need a hand up. Found a great antique bench,a beautiful guess purse and some Nike runners that look like they never been worn. Ladies that work there were pleasant and helpful.

I have been a regular customer here for over 10 years and shop here at least once a week. Their items are reasonably priced especially since they have discount days. The staff are generally friendly. I had come in about a week ago and found an item for a great deal and undoubtedly had to grab it. As I was paying for it the manager Lucy was on til. She had seen the price and immediately started making slick remarks to herself and coworker as I was standing in front of her. She was fidgeting with the price tag to see if it had been switched. I understand this is a common thing in thrift stores but being a regular customer I expected a little more respect. She had seen that the tag was untouched and said she would have to change the price. After seeing how angry she was and the scene she had caused I told he I no longer wanted any of my items and will no longer be shopping there. It’s a shame since I have been coming here for so long but this isn’t the only time I have seen the manager act so unprofessional.
