It's 10 pm on Christmas eve I go out to my car to find a flat tire in the driveway. There are almost no 24 hour emergency mechanics in Belleville so I widened my search area and found Wilkes.
I called and explained about my flat tire to them and when I asked if they could repair my tire, the person on the phone loudly exclaimed "NOT TONIGHT" and hung up on me. No opporunity to ask about tomorrow or the day after, just rudeness. Salt in the wound when I'm already in an incredibly upsetting and frustrating situation.
I feel really terrible about the timing, but it's not something I can really help or have control over, plus this place was advertised as 24 hours, emergency repairs, and afterhours. Why would you advertise as being a 24 hour emergency mechanic if you have no intention of fulfilling those hours? I can not believe how rude he was.
A little bit of human decency would have been appreciated. Vote with your wallet and give your money to a business who actually cares.
