Went for the rafting, ate a meal and enjoyed the free kayak/ SUP. Had an awesome time on the river/at the beach. the rafting guide is chill, professional, informative and let you have fun. Our boat flipped in coliseum rapid but our guide grabbed half of crew back to the boat and the speed boat quickly saved everyone else! Video and photos are high resolution, definitely worth purchasing! Will go back next year :)

First visit, did not disappoint. I like private camping and they did not offer any so the visit did not start great but when we visited the main building and beach, wow, this was awesome! Spoke to staff who were super friendly. Food was decent, the drinks were good, loved the atmosphere, the fire pits, the trail to the rapids and borrowing paddle boards. The rafting was better than I expected!! So much fun, would have done again if we had time. Hope to return next year.

Second time coming this summer to Wilderness Tours and it was great. I highly recommend the family experience and ensuring to bring your own group. It is definitely tough when your group is small and have to be paired with another family. The second time was much harder because we couldn't get in sync so we couldn't get out of the rapids fast enough. A lot of meetings with rocks which require more paddling and tiring you out. The tour guides are awesome. They are friendly, personable, the Lunch are hearty meals, the snacks are appreciated the waters are to die for! Definitely get the go pro for your helmet and if you do bring your phone, a phone case that can hang around your neck and be tucked in your life jacket when needed. I have made a group experience out of this and will definitely do this again

Awesome time! Nice setup, whether you are camping or upgrade to a cabin. The pavilion is open air and rustic with a nice fire pit, stage and dance area. Even the meals are pretty good!! Big servings and variety with every meal. The only thing missing was a fire pit at the campsites but a bit understandable when you see how close tents setup next to each other in your corral area. Still was missed. But Betty, Chris and the gang of Guides help make up for it on the water!! Just make sure you're not seated at the front right of the boat if Betty is your guide, as you will get very wet, even if you aren't ejected from the boat! ? Great time, thanks to all! And remember to tip your Guide at the gratuity box, up by the store, after your ride! Great fun!

I was disappointed with my recent WT experience. I've been before (~2014) and had a great experience. However, after this recent trip my view of WT has shifted entirely. They have a new location since covid which is a few kilometres upstream from the old, shortening and removing some of the rapids from the tour. This new location does not show up on google maps over the old, and the physical signs for the old location are still in place. This led to my group going to the wrong location first and almost being late for our day trip. My main complaint is towards our raft guide, who shall remain unnamed. Their conduct was generally annoying, bordering on insulting towards some of the rafters on board. They lacked knowledge of the area, talked exclusively about themselves and did not provide audible instructions despite being asked to speak up. A member of my group prepaid $55 for the photo and video package for the trip. The package was advertised as 20+ photos and a day trip video, though our package only contained 3 photos and the video was a 3 minute compilation of all rafters, starring my group for <10 seconds of screen time, the first two rapids only. When asked for a refund, we received $20 back. The water was great and many other guides seemed competent, but my advice to a group of <=8 would be: - book the sports (NOT adventure) rafting for a good guide, and a more action packed trip. - do NOT purchase the photo/video package. Instead, book a GoPro in advance - it costs less and you have control of your content. - call / email in advance to confirm the rafting location. We received a single email mentioning the new location, and it was the only email from WT which ended up in the junk folder.

I was very disappointed with this experience. Not only did we not get any photos, the actual rafting trip itself was very underwhelming. During one of the multiple stops, we were allowed to walk along a path so we could watch other rafts go through the rapids first. Unfortunately, everyone was forced to walk back to the rafts without seeing anything and we were made to sit in the raft to wait our turn to go through. Our raft was last to go through the rapids every single time. If you are planning on doing this trip and it says 5+ hours of rafting, make sure to account for 99% of the time just sitting and waiting. Although this experience wasn't great, we thought the photos would be one redeeming quality, but it turns out that we can't even view the photos from the trip on the website. And when we called them to see if the photos could be sent to us-- the guy informed us that it was only 3 of the same exact photo of us sitting in the raft doing nothing. While the other rafts have 25+ action photos to choose from. After multiple phone calls, and it has almost been a week later, there has been no resolution and no photos. I would recommend that you spend your money somewhere else.
