★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve dealt with a couple appraisers in Ottawa and had mixed results. Getting reports out slowly having to call for a reports after three weeks with no updates. There is a difference when using Wieland and associates they definitely deserve a top rating for their service, professionalism and quality of work.
Thanks for everything Andrew your customer service and attention to detail are a step above.

I was dealing with two different lenders to refinance my existing house and buy a new one, the new house was exactly the next door of my existing one, the refinance lender hired Wieland to do the appraisal of my house, he came back with a value of 375K, the other lander hired another appraiser to do the appraisal of the new purchase, he came back with 390K, both were in the same week, Wieland didn't visit the house while the other appraiser did, again, both houses are next to each other in the same condo, the surprise is that the one valued for 375K has fully finished basement, One more full bathroom in the basement and a brand new furnace (4 months old) and it was valued for 15K less than the other instead of 15K more !!!
They are unprofessional , not recommended at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not typically provide reviews however wanted to express my gratitude to Wieland & Associates for completing an appraisal to secure my financing on extremely short notice. A representative returned my phone call after business hours on a Friday evening; had an associate appraiser complete the appraisal over the weekend and have to my broker / lender before business hours the following Monday morning. The Wieland team understood the time sensitive nature of our requirements and completed the job professionally while exceeding all of our expectations; we are glad to have put our trust in this firm.
Myself and my mortgage broker highly recommend this company and will be using their services moving forward.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reached out to Wieland & Associates 2 weeks ago for an appraisal on a property we are building in Ottawa , the appraiser assigned was diligent and straight forward he got our report back in time. If anyone's out there looking for an appraisal company in the area look into them, I will be working with them again in the future.

We contacted Wieland & Associates directly and their team was able to complete the appraisal and deliver the report quickly; it made the difference for us to be able to meet our closing date. We are extremely grateful to Andrew for making our request a priority and giving us the best chance at meeting our timelines.
