Great course just too bad members treat the walk on fee golfers with such a high amount of disrespect. They had probably ruined this course for me and I will not be returning to this course.

If you want to play a track where grown men are treated like 14 year old punks at a municipal course, this place is for you. It’s never good to make guests feel unwelcome before they even take to the first tee. Club seems to be littered with wealthy golf β€œhardo’sβ€œ who are unwelcoming of green fee golfers. This place is slightly overrated as well, especially for the price point. Won’t be coming back here, ever.

If you love golf, and you are in Northern Ontario, you MUST golf here! Beautifully maintained course with spectacular views on several holes. Not as challenging as the slope rating might suggest, as there are very wide landing areas on most holes. However, the rough, when high, is very difficult to get out of, and the greens, although large, have a lot of subtle (and some obvious) breaks. If this course were in a more populated area (GTA, for example), they could easily max out their membership, and charge more for their green fees.

Without a doubt one of my favorite places in Thunder Bay. Whitewater Golf Club and King George’s Park Estates are the place to live, work and play in Thunder Bay. The two Thomas McBroom designed courses The Forest Course and The River Course and the Sand Barrens Course, are among the finest 18 holes of golf in Ontario I'm sure. They have a 20 acre golf academy. The Whitewater Golf Academy features putting, chipping, sand and short game stations as well as a 400-yard range with double-ended bent grass tee decks. It's a fun loving place to be and very laid back. The golf course is also challenging for those looking for something more serious. It has a club house. This was definitely a memorable visit.

Great Men's Night at Whitewater today. Matt Simmons is a class act and great ambassador for the Canadian PGA.

I have played here now five times and loved the tees and fairways. The greens were always fast and true... until my last visit. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for charging $99.00 for round and cart. Most of the greens lacked grass(bare patches galore) which made putting next to impossible. Local rule this year is a putter length for a gimme. It wasn't much fun except for my company(my buddies). I'm a senior with a 12 handicap and almost paid $1.00 per stroke. Wait and see how the greens are before playing there later this year.

Was hoping it was better than one of the reviews. Over priced...no signs saying which way for first t's...was busy but were told to go whenever we were ready ended golfing by ourselves with a 2 some in front and a single behind? Not very well planned. Cart was slow and ended having to push it up a very steep hill. Did bring us another one but then had to change over and no offers to help worker stood there and watched us. Lots of growing grass in the bunkers which were not looked after. Greens and fairways have barely any grass. Was quite wet so balls should have stuck on the greens but didn't. Very disappointing.

Played last week. Course is in terrible shape. Tees on par 3s don't look like they've been rotated in weeks. Bunkers have weeds growing out of them and don't look like they've been machine raked in weeks. Greens in bad shape. Rough and bumpy. Many have dead brown patches and some look they have fungal infiltrates.
