★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped in as part of a drive to look at Christmas lights. The restaurant was decked out for the holidays as well. The five of us enjoyed a variety of food from the kids menu to some classic sandwiches. The Whistle Stop is certainly worth the trip - or plan your visit for when you are passing by on the way to or from Yorkton. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and treated the kids with Candy Canes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not enjoy burger at all. Expensive for what I got. My eight-year-old son said his chicken fingers weren't that good either. Fries are not home cut just playing out of a box and deep-fried. No love in the food. Nice enough service. It's a place we go anytimewe are hunting and fishing half an hour north of home. Sure hope they step up their quality.
