★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the displeasure of renting at Legacy apartments. Lots of cons, not many pros. Moving in, the suite was not fully cleaned, as there were stains on the walls (even a foot print!), locks were all broken in the bedroom and washroom. The kitchen counter was also not attached properly and would slide off. These issues were NOT fixed in the entire year tenancy agreement. During move-out, we performed our clean, even renting carpet cleaners. Although we did miss the blinds for the cleaning, the manager felt that they should hire cleaners to re-clean the entire suite, and charge us for it off the damage deposit. Not only that, but the manager also gave our contact information to the next tenant without our approval, which seemed like a bit of a privacy violation.
Another weird bit, we were told water was included in the rent but our hydro bills would be way higher than other buildings, even ones that were older with the same amount of usage. Even in the summer, the hydro costs would be similar to the winter costs (heat on more often) of my previous rental.
Location of the building is also quite confusing for any sort of delivery, as many people get lost trying to find the main entrance.
The only Pro I can list would be the concrete walls for noise dampening, although it does not matter if you are front facing (south / southeast) since the traffic noise + taphouse music / noise + gas station trucks are clearly audible. So you wont hear your neighbors but you'll hear everything else!
