Western Painting is owned and operated by Harald and Bonnie Traweger and has proudly served the needs of Alberta businesses and homeowners since 1995. Harald started his painting career at the age of 18 in Regina, Saskatchewan while working in the family-run business. Upon moving to Red Deer, he opened his own company and soon established himself as a trusted source for many local contractors.

Harald and his crew have developed the skills to enhance a variety of substrates. Whether it is block wall, drywall, structural steel, doors, frames or windows, interior or exterior – Harald’s professional team knows the best products to use and the correct application techniques for each. His expertise extends to wood staining and finishing, vinyl wall covering application, lacquering, and the everyday needs of brush and roller application.

With a full range of equipment, solid reputation and continued emphasis on safety, Western Painting & Decorating has solidified itself as a trusted name in the field capable of tackling any size project. Consistent results have allowed the business to expand over the years. The company works with general contractors in Alberta and across Canada. The company handles assignments on commercial properties, residential homes, insurance claims, as well as new homes and repaints. Harald and Bonnie’s business currently employs over 20 individuals.
