★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been with Western Financial Group and having Wawenesa Insurance since I was 16. After trying to deal with the extremely rude receptionists over the phone for the past few months, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I couldn't talk to the receptionist without them yelling at me over the phone because I had a lot of questions that they "didn't know how to explain it (the answers) to me". Now from talking to another insurance broker they were able to save me just under $100 a month on my car insurance with Wawenesa, the same insurance company. The woman I talked to just had to ASK Wawanesa if I was eligible for a loyalty discount which ended up saving me money and Western Financial failed to inform me or didn't care enough to ask. Unfortunately, this review wont let me put 0 stars because if I could, I would.

Our agent regularly reviews our policies, recommends adjustments to coverage and deductibles to ensure that our insurance needs are being met. She then obtains quotes from their multiple insurers to find the best coverage and rates for us. Thank you WFG.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we went to insure a car at western financial group today and was told that my vehicle VIN number doesn't exist. when not 2 weeks ago I got a quote from a different company that was a high price I didn't accept. they had no problem with the VIN number. maybe people here should try harder to impress theyre customers instead of demanding high prices for no real reason.

The folks handling requests in BC are not the same as dealing with Marg and her team. I am being told that the vehicle VIN I want to add to my policy is not in the database even though it is currently registered in AB and insured by Cooperators

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After 10 years with this broker I decided to check the competition as my insurance was extraordinarily higher than average. I found I was being over charged by nearly $2500 per year. I will never use Western Financial ever again. As soon as my term expires I will be closing all policies and taking my business elsewhere. Buyer beware these people will cheat you with a smile. If I could give negative points I would.
