★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The prices are best in Lower Mainland, I did detailed comparison of all Greater Vancouver stores. Here you can shop with confidence, no reason to go to the other places. The store has an extensive inventory of all beekeeping items, so everyone can find what they need. I had an opportunity to talk to Lidia, the owner, and she is a great person as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will not purchase from Westcoast Bee Supply again. Ordered case of Apipasta Plus and 15% pollen patties for my 3 beehives. Arrived quickly, but on opening the shipping box, the pollen patties look to have been stored at warm temp then frozen - maybe more than once; strong smell and watery. Date on Apipasta +box shown in photo is May'21 and website says 18 month shelf life if stored in normal conditions; box was punctured and scuffed, tape seal partly broken, probably not stored in normal conditions. Emailed and talked with lady owner; asked to return for full refund including shipping costs, given the condition. She said she would accept and resell, but I would cover shipping both ways - about $60. We agreed that she would refund price of pollen patties only, but she retracted that offer when I didnt agree that the co is one of the best or that she was bending over backwards to please. Said you get nothing... and after a week, I havent.
Today I received delivery of fondant and 15% pollen patties from a different urban bee supplier. Will leave a different review there. Some local family-based businesses do give excellent service and sell quality products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought some honey at the Vancouver farmers market opened on Sundays by the PNE from this place. Good tasting honey and the staff at the kiosk were very friendly and knowledgeable. Fair prices for a jar of honey (12$) and (18$) we ended up getting two different types.
