About West Springs Free Methodist Church
Who We Are
Quite simply we are a group of people who choose to love God and one another, share in life together and be God’s love to others.
We think of ourselves as pretty ordinary, friendly people. We live in the surrounding communities and across Calgary. We are singles, young families, empty nesters and retirees. Our youngest is only a few weeks old and our oldest would prefer we not share their age. We are a melting pot of cultures, interests and occupations.
Some can’t remember a time when they didn’t believe and some are just beginning to explore faith. Some have been part of this church most or all of their lives and some have just started attending in the past few months.
But what we all have in common is this place feels like home. It’s a place where people know your face and name, are happy to see you and truly want to know how you are doing. A place where you can count on a hug, a prayer or a listening ear and a cup of coffee. A place where you are welcome just as you are.
