★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We told this company we had a wasp problem in an attic. They arrived without a ladder and blew a couple puffs of powder in the vents from the outside and proceeded to tell me he wouldn’t go in the attic and the wasp would be dead in a couple days. Well the wasps continued to buzz around for the next week so I called him back but he said he was going on holidays for two weeks. After two weeks I called again and he said he would come by. This time he came and looked at the house and advised me the nest must be in the attic and he couldn’t help me. He did return the 200 dollars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ West Kootenay Pest Control has come to my rescue twice. 1) Effectively resolved a major wasp issue that was overtaking a commercial/residential business and 2) answered my weekend call regarding a rodent infestation in a residential complex and was there immediately to resolve. I believe there is a new owner operator from the previous 1-star comment. I highly recommend this company

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely unprofessional service. Not only were they never on time, and appointments had been cancelled multiple times. They tried to collect payment without a proper bill; I had to ask to be invoiced. I was unable to use my phone for about 4 days while I was in a no service area for work up north and eventually came home to multiple messages and voicemails including threats to send it to collections. After 3 days of finally receiving my invoice. My time stamped messages and voicemails were also at completely inappropriate times (after 9 Pm all the way to past midnight). Pricing was also not appropriate I have come to find out. I will most defiantly not be using this company ever again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ John at West Kootenay Pest Control is amazing!! We had a really bad carpenter ant infestation and he came through for us! John came by or called to check in about once a week to see how we were fairing in the war against the ants. He was even able to come by on Easter weekend to refill the ant traps! John has worked around our schedule and been a pleasure to work with. He also came in and sprayed for some wasps that were living in our siding, and despite the fact that there wasn't a clear entrance to the nest John was able to gas them and help us to live a wasp free life! I highly recommend working with John at WKPC!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had these guys come out twice, once last year and once this year and both times they have been incredibly unresponsive after the initial visit. They make you pay for 3 months of service ($350), with a visit once each month and have both times failed to come after the first time. Can't even get a hold of them anymore, absolute con.
Never left a review for anyone before but I'm honestly so disappointed with this company and thought you should all know what you'd be getting into. Just buy your own poison and housings for the bait. You'll save lots of money and have the same results.
