★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For years I had to let my hair grow past my rear due to the lack of a proper barbershop in Golden, BC. There was simply not a soul in town who I trusted to tame my mane. When the Welcome barber opened up, I thought I would go check them out to see if this was someone I trusted to chop my mop. Over the course of my time in this town, I attributed my lack of success with the ladies to the town's low female population, but little did I know my struggles were coming from somewhere else. While sitting down in the Barber's chair, I opened my heart to Devon regarding my trials and tribulations to find my true love.
He looked at me with a smile only a barber can muster and said
"Buddy, the reason love hasn't found you yet is because of your hair. You want a trim that will help you find your soul mate? Say no more!"
Devon worked his magic and after 20 minutes, he was able to once again give me the confidence I needed. His work gave my dome its youthful look, literally shaving years off my head.
The next evening I went to the Riverhouse for Taco Tuesday, where I met the love of my life. We're getting married next spring. I can't thank Devon enough, as he helped me reach my destiny. I will be naming my first born after him, and you bet they will be getting their first haircut from Devon, as I pass on the tradition of keeping well groomed.
