★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've been here twice now and its lovely. A couple picnic sites have fire pits, but most don't so that's why not 5☆. But the water is lovely and the whole area is easy to access. A great waterfront way to spend an afternoon .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An awesome place to go for a day trip from Calgary. A few spots have fire pits and most have benches and tables. The pond is small and can be hiked in 20 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to relax. Not busy on a Monday at 3:30pm. Big parking lot. Decent picnic spaces, some with fire pits. Beautiful scenery!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice spot to go for a swim. I specially recomend the bike path as well that goes all the way up to Kananaskis Village. It's an amazing ride, just be ready as you might find bears in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. There's a long trail for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Picnic tables and firepits on site. Most of all the pond is the heart of the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice quiet stop and rest area on Highway 40 Kananaskis Country near Mt. Kidd. Wonderful views of Mt. Wedge, Mt. Fortress and Nakiska slopes surrounding the place and mirroring in still pond water when you happened to be there on early windless morning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small pond in Kananaskis, almost beside the road. No need to hike or have a long walk. There are picnic tables, and drinking alcoholic beverages is allowed on the tables and picnic area. Fantastic place for family and children. Usually people are on their paddle boards or inflatable Kayaks, yet the pond is not suitable for swimming. You may also walk around the pond or go to a nearby , cycling/walking path
