Wawanesa has Fort as a broker and Fort customer service is unacceptable !! Wawanesa seems like they don’t value there customers anymore .

After 25 years of holding a car insurance policy with Wawanesa, I've changed to Allstate. Since Wawanesa went to third party brokers, service has done down and prices have gone up. Yesterday I tried calling the broker (Fort insurance) and was holding for over 50 minutes and still waiting to renew and make changes, got fed up and hung up. The same thing happened a month earlier. So I called Allstate shortly after where I hold a home owners policy and was able to speak to a person within 5 minutes. They gave me a much better rate. Bye bye Wawanesa.

horrible company. Will not pay for clear water damage. Will not even allow us reasonable delay to fix the damage given lack of workers due to COVID pandemic. They are threatening to cancel our insurance policy because we are unable to find workers to repair damages!!!!! Absolutely worst company. They have caused a great deal of stress to entire family and are absolutely unreasonable. wait times over the phone are crazy long. Customer service is horrible. Avoid it like the pest.

Filed for two claims in 3 years, one 50/50 and one 100/0, 0 from my part. Got a phone call saying they don’t want to renew my contract. Been a customer for 10 years and always had a clean record. Don’t bother with Wawanesa, you deserve better.

I have recently claimed online on the weekend. On Monday, my file responsible called me. She listened to me carefully and processed my claim by giving good advice. In around ten days, the garage repaired my car. So, it desires a five-star rating.

Really not impressed with the service I’ve received. I submitted a claim on May 20th for a not a fault accident, I just got the approval on June 10th. The rep told me they didn’t have the phone number of the other person so they couldn’t reach him. I ended up calling the other persons insurance and had to explain them the situation. Why do I have to do someone’s job for them? Isn’t that why I’m paying for insurance in the first place, for a headache free service? Once my car is finally fixed, it’ll be well over a month since this claim has been submitted.
