Some History
atertown is owned and operated by Jerry and Juanita Cousins. They have always regarded themselves as being in the "pleasure business" and remain personally involved with many of the people who come in for their recreational power sports needs.
Educated by fierce competition and daily business operations, these things also helped to made them sharp and hold their interest. Their Watertown crew have become like family; Jerry and Juanita are proud of their staff's dedication to, and knowledge of, the recreational sports industry. Customer loyalties have also been appreciated. The Watertown crew looks forward to meeting new people and old friends.
In the late 60's Jerry went to work for H.C. Paul Limited in Winnipeg, the Mercury outboard distributor at the time, where he learned the ropes in the marine industry from Harry Paul and staff.
In 1972 the Cousins opened the doors of "Great River Road Marine" as a Mercury and Lund dealer at Otter Falls, Manitoba. The dealership gained momentum and over the years earned the prestigious Mercury Congress Award many times over.
In 1990, a suitable building was purchased in the Lac du Bonnet area and renovated, becoming home to Watertown Inc. Now Watertown has been established for over 20 years in the summer and winter recreation business in Manitoba with pleasure, fishing and pontoon boats, Mercury Outboards, snowmobiles and ATV's and an excellent selection of accessories and clothing.
Jerry and Juanita thank all their customers for all their business over all the years, It's been GREAT!

"If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it." - Rolls Royce.
Had to wait 15 minutes to get someone to tell me the price of used boat motors, only to be embarrassed because I can not afford their prices.
Not going there to be embarrassed again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a new shorelandr trailer here last year. They had a better price than in the city and no nonsense fees tacked on. The price they gave me over the phone was the price I paid when I showed up. Zero pressure over the phone, just straight up facts and some questions to ensure I was buying the right trailer for my boat. Very friendly staff, too! When I look for a new outboard motor, I will be calling them first.

If anyone is looking for Customer satisfaction and professional advise dont look any further then Watertown and the Staff there.
i recently had a major issue with my Bayliner boat that needed attention right away and when i dropped my Boat off it was attended too and saved within Minutes of dropping it off
The Staff and Jay are not just your regular run of the mill dealership , they have Pride at what they do and Customer Focus ..
i would recommend Watertown to anyone that ask where to purchase from or deal with

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mercury trim motor need replacing ,not sure if covered under warranty, they dais might take 2-3 weeks to get looked at. They had it replaced ,installed and back to me in under 2 weeks. 1st time using this place ,they did a great job. Very happy.
