★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short, easy and scenic trail along the waterfront from the Railway Museum to the main shopping/touristy area. Saw a bald eagle :) Love Prince Rupert, and will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Waterfront walking trail in Prince Rupert stretches from the Rotary Waterfront Park near the Kwinitsa Railway Museum to the Cow Bay Marina. It runs parallel to the Cow Bay Road. We visited Prince Rupert in July 2019 and I would go for long walks along the trail. One can find benches with plaques in the memory of some of the pioneers who settled in this frontier port town decades ago. Many residents use the trail for their morning walks with their pets. The views of the Pacific Ocean and the distant islands are indeed awe inspiring.
