You know, this place really made me feel great. Especially the big Asian and Colombian really helped me with my order and I’m forever grateful for those great servers. Head boss was a lovely lady and deserves the most respect

We came here for the gelato. Did not leave disappointed. My highlight was the nanaimo bar gelato. Sounds weird but they did a great job on it. You'd think it'd be sticky sweet, but no. Everybody in our party was happy with their choices. Pricing is typical tourist gelato, that is a bit on the high side, but it's hard to find cheaper gelato nowadays. Yup, I would recommend this. If I were in the area and "needed" some gelato, I would return.

Second time having a bad experience. First time I asked for baby scoop for my 1 and a half yrs old grandson...they gave me child size...I told them I have never ordered this for him we r in twice a week. They argued that this was what we ordered. It was too big for him and melted all over. Plus I paid for small when I ordered child scoop. Then today Was horrendous. The owner was screaming and yelling and there were children in the store. I ordered my grandson the child cup with cone separate. They were going to charge me 1$ for the cone. There is a sign that says they don't charge extra for waffle cone. They argued with me. I had ordered a shake and 2 ginger alert with his ice cream. My daughter in law had already walked out with him with the ice-cream (no cone) so I side well I will just pay for the ice-cream I do think want anything else. They started screaming and yelling. I said listen if he hadn't already had the ice-cream outside I wouldn't even be paying for that I would have left it all. They started threatening the police. Others in the store left with her behaviour. When I said hey there are kids here no need to scream...she said she didn't care it's her store she will scream if she wants to. She said I just want trouble. I said no I want to just pay for his ice-cream and leave and she wouldn't let me. So I said well 3 other customers have seen me try to pay so I am leaving. I called the police when I walked out because I don't plan on getting arrested over ice-cream. My daughter in law who is 8 mnths pregnant walked in to pay for the ice-cream and they started on her. She side listen...I will pay for it and go....or I will dump it here and u can clean it up. They said oh u r here all the time...she said yup not anymore. They let her pay finally. Police came....we apologised for their wasted time. This place has had issues in the past. The Gelato may be good but not worth the bull $hit customer service. So I see today....THREE YEARS LATER....the owner makes a comment trying to say something else happened. Please do share what you say happened! I wrote every bit of what happened. We have never returned since. When I tell people what happened there, everyone agrees that they do not have good customer service. Also it was you and your husband there that day. You need to learn how to respect your customers, without them you have no business. The other ice cream shoppe a few doors down " Tea on the Quay" is absolutely amazing!!!! We visit there weekly in the summer when we take out the 2 littles. She is friendly and remembers us every time. Everyone should frequent Tea on the Quay. They may not have candy, but they have great icecream and amazing customer service.

Small store but big taste! We had the nanaimo bar and tiramisu cones. Both were fantastic!
