★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the small coastal town of Bamfield in August 2019. There is a beautiful boardwalk along the west side of the Bamfield Inlet from where you can watch the boat traffic as well as the float-planes take off and land on the water. The boardwalk runs for about a kilometre from the Mills Landing to the Canadian Coast Guard Station, past old weather-beaten houses and native plant gardens, a General Store, the Post Office and a Cappuccino Bar. The Inlet is like the main street of Banfield. There is even a water taxi station near the boardwalk.
