If i could do a lesser rating i would. Went to get a tooth pulled only to find out half way through that i had an infection, which should have been found during examination. 10/10 will never come back.

called a half hour before my appointment was scheduled to cancel and gave no other options and just a "sorry" for the inconvenience. Unprofessional. No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment there in the first place.

I see a lot of negative reviews here, I've never had a problem and they have treated me well for several years now. I haven't had any serious dental work though, just normal cleanings/checkups.

Had a rootcanal completed thought everything was okay until my tooth broke and cracked in half went back to her and was advised it wasnt her fault and all I could do was get the tooth pulled and see about getting a implant. I went to another dentist who advised me my tooth should have been capped after the rootcanal and this is why my tooth broke. Now in order to get a implant its over $5000 but if it was done properly the first time it would have been fine! She also charged me for a check up to tell me to pull the tooth even though I just had the rootcanal completed the week before! Not impressed will never go back!

I missed 2 appointments now everytime i need work done it has to be on the same day as a cancellation. Its not even good dental work. My son got 2 fillings there and they're pretty half fast, already 1 needs to be redone. My brother got a root canal here and for months afterwards its been bugging him. I got a checkup and my fillings (from here) are already cracked and my wisdom teeth need to come out. My dentist knows im in pain but they still wont book me all because of 2 missed appointments

I became a patient of Dr. Allison Falconer of Wascana Dental Center a couple years ago. I have nothing negative to say about Dr. Falconer, she’s polite and seems to show a genuine concern for her patients. Her Office Manager, on the other hand, is a nightmare. She was VERY snarky and unprofessional every time I had to deal with her, although I have been nothing but respectful towards her. In the past, I had called to ask some questions about getting referred to a dental surgeon for wisdom teeth removal, the Office Manager then proceeded to laugh at me and then spoke to me like I was an idiot, rather than helping me in a professional manner (this was not my first displeasing experience with her). I continued to remain a patient at Wascana Dental Center because I really didn’t have an issue with Dr. Falconer herself, however, I had no other option than to leave this dentist office after my last issue with the Office Manager. I required a dental crown on a dead tooth that was extremely worn down. Dr. Falconer had told her Office Manager to send in a request for a crown to my insurance provider. I hadn’t received an approval or denial from my insurance provider for an unusually long period of time. Over the course of 13 months I would call and ask if the office had heard any news regarding the crown request. I would call about every 3 months, and every single time I would call, the Office Manager would VERY unprofessionally and rudely inform me that I did NOT need to call because she would call me when there was an approval or denial of the request. My tooth was starting to give me a lot more trouble as I waited on an approval for a crown that was, unbeknownst to me, NEVER sent. After growing suspicious due to the long period of time I was waiting and due to the lack of professionalism that the Office Manager conveyed, I took it upon myself to get in touch with my insurance provider. They had informed me that there never was a request sent for the work that I needed. If this had been a mere accident (the request never being sent), it would have been unprofessional, absolutely, but still forgivable (I am a very easy going individual and patient). However, every single time I would call to check on the status of this imaginary request, the Office Manager would β€œlook up” the request I was inquiring about (that she had allegedly sent), and would then proceed to inform me that the request was still waiting on approval/denial.. She would again remind me that I didn’t need to call and inquire about it.. She also told me that’s it’s normal for such a process to take over a year, and I agree, this is obviously very normal for a request that’s never been sent. I have to wonder, how many other patients of this clinic are waiting on an approval for a dental procedure that they desperately need, but are waiting on nothing? The attitude, lack of concern, and complete disrespect of the woman who is the first face to represent this dental office, makes me question the integrity of the entire dental office altogether. After my last negative experience with the Office Manager, I had gone down to Wascana Dental to make an overdue complaint in person (so I would know that Dr. Falconer actually received my complaint). When I complained to the Office Manager about what had happened, she made it clear to me that she did not care, she was also short tempered with me, did not apologize, and refused to let me talk to the dentist. I was fed up at this point and was adamant that I needed to give my complaint to Dr. Falconer herself. If I hadn’t spoken to Dr. Falconer, I am certain that she would have never received my complaint. I’m very disappointed with this dental office, my experiences here, and how it is ran on the administration level. The dental work is ok, but doesn’t make up for the unacceptable experiences you may go through. I would never recommend this office to anyone, and only wish to have people properly informed on its extremely poor etiquette. Do your homework and find a place that you can trust! :)
