★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is no longer there. Artist and creator unfortunately has passed away. The properties where this path was have been sold off. There are few things still left to see after a hike but it's not worth making the trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess art takes on many forms. To me, this was just series of old trash left along the trails of a nature conservation area. Mostly plastic and old rusty stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had been through the whacky woods previously, but this was the first time we took our kids through. As per usual it was an awesome display of art and expression. Sone of this installations seem tobhave fallen into disrepair over the years, but it was still all fascinating and fun to see.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly these "wacky woods" were "closed" in 2018, when the artist and caretaker passed away. With many messages in the woods about life, death, and one's values, it reminded me of the ephemeral nature of life... nothing lasts forever as the woods take over. What matters is how you live your life now, today.
Still, there are remnants of the artist's vision in the woods. I enjoyed seeing the few art pieces left along the wooded path. A fence and private property sign seems to have taken over a part of the woods.
I'm sure more time will only have the land engulfing more of the "wacky woods", and then only woods, the regular woods, albeit magical in their own right, will remain.
