About Wachter Horses

Born and Raised in Alberta, Canada Lynne has had a lifelong passion for horses. In her younger years she won many championships and awards including the Western Regional CET medal twice, and representing Canada in the North American Young Riders Championships. Tapping into her technical - North American riding style, Lynne has enjoyed a successful showjumping career full of accolades and competing at all levels including FEI.

Lynne's love of the sport goes beyond the ring, as she strives to share her passion and approach with others through coaching and training. It is this passion that lead Lynne to found Concorde Stables in 1999, and since then she has helped riders realize their dreams from fundamentals to podium. She has delivered countless championships and establishing herself as a leader in the International equestrian community.

Pooling the resources and program behind Concorde Stables into the newly reorganized Wachter Horses organization provides the Wachter horses team incredible support.

Lynne has a secondary education in Business Management which, combined with her work ethic, dedication, and expertise, provides Wachter Horses with a thoughtful co-owner to further drive results.

The atmosphere and staff are amazing as well as the coaching i have come leaps and bounds in the short time i have been there. And my daughter and her horse are a team i cannot wait to see this year!!!!!! I highly recommend this facility to anyone whether you are brand new to this sport or getting back into it after many a year they can accommodate everyone and you will have FUN doing it!!!!

I have two competition horses boarding at the facility and they both are happier and healthier than they have ever been. Beda and Lynne really care about the horses and will bend over backwards to ensure the health and happiness of their equine clients. The competition program is arguable the best in Alberta. No two lessons are the same but every lesson provides a building block to create well rounded riders who are able to manage and excel in all situations. It is amazing to get the opportunity to ride with two top professionals who complement each other's teaching styles so well. Whether you are looking for a program to develop a young horse or looking to learn to excel on your competition horse, Beda and Lynne have the knowledge and expertise to help you achieve all your goals.

A wide range of equine services are offered from starting a new greenie to retiring an older equine companion and everything in between. Your horse is in good hands at this stable.

My wife has been part of the Wachter Team for over a decade and it truly is a family atmosphere. Beda and Lynne's teaching and training styles compliment each other and offer students and their horses their best opportunity for success. Their combined years of knowledge and experience combined with their absolutely unmatched commitment to their students, horses and the sport is so evident.

Ten years later, she is a dedicated, passionate rider. She has been training full time with Beda and Lynne for the past two years. Beda and Lynne have stood along side her though the ups and downs of showjumping and they have become some of the most important mentors in her life thus far. There is an amazing barn family that cheers each other on and supports teammates. Currently, our daughter is riding a Watcher bred 6 year old gelding. The quality of horses and training that are available at this facility are top notch. Incredible care for the horses as well. Would completely recommend Watcher horses.

My daughter (11) has a wonderful group of friends and gets wonderful lessons as often as she needs or wants it. Private and or group setting! She improved leaps and bounds over the last year and I couldn’t be more pleased with her progress. Beda and Lynne compliment each other perfectly to teach her how it should be done! Also the boarding services at Wachter is top notch. We have a yearling in a group setting and 2 riding horses there. The horses have turnout and are on a customized feeding program. We just started using their breeding services for two mares who are there currently to get bred. There is literally everything you need in the horse world! Definitely HIGHLY recommended if you are looking for quality care for your equine and or quality lessons!

As a new up and coming coach (in training) they have become unbelievable role models for me as a rider and as an instructor. Not only have they taken me under their wings but they're showing me the ropes on how to be a professional and become a great example to my younger students. Two years ago I joined the team and I walked in expecting to just have friends and coaches. Unexpectedly, I have a family at the barn. People who share the same interest and that want to hang out outside of lesson times. My mother and I have three horses there. Two of them are in the full training program and they have never looked better. Not only having one coach but being able to have two coaches with two different opinions but have the same purpose makes it an unreal experience. I would highly recommend Lynne Stephenson and Beda Wachter ten times out of ten because not only do they provide opportunity but they provide SO much more for us as students, leaders, and professionals.
