★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a really nice trail along the shore. Lots of moss and growth. A cute little camp spot along the way was a bonus. Wear some footware appropriate for hiking, the trail can be a bit wet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem. The trail is easily accessed from the parking area near the end of the road. The trail itself is easy, being fairly flat and wide. Lots of cedar, red pine and other tree species line the trail. The trail parallels the Lake Superior coast, which has a beautiful stony beach. The sound of the waves breaking on the shore accompanies hikers the whole way.
