★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pub was a nice way to end the semester. We went for happy hour drinks which was nice. They were very reasonably priced and there was a good list of options. The food was pretty good. They don't have many gluten free options so I had to eat the fries for dinner. The people I went with did have a nice meal. The service was okay. Nothing special or even noteworthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would have given it 5 stars…. However, the band stopped playing after 5 minutes and didn’t come back on until 30 minutes after they said they would come on. Despite this experience, great atmosphere, great brews and a great time with great friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great times are always had at the VIU pub. The manager, Mateo, came and introduced himself and created a welcoming atmosphere for us. Great food and beer as always! Just wish that Duncan VIU campus would follow suit and have a pub there too!
