β β β β β I Hired Norm for the appraisal of my Camaro for insurance purposes. He came and did his thing. I enjoyed talking to him about vintage cars. Norm is a real car guy and will work hard to deliver report promptly.
I will use him again and you should too he wont let you down.

β β β β β Vintage car appraisal has to be the most bias, lazy appraisal company I have had the privilege of dealing with.
I have been advised that mileage didn't effect value and wasn't considered in my appraisal. When his own report had comparables priced higher with lower mileage.
I asked how he came up with the number as it doesn't quantify, and Norm refused to elaborate or contact me regarding my concern.
I have been in the automotive industry for 18 years, and retired as a senior collision appraiser after being a manager, and journeyman.
Never have I seen such an arrogant bias appraiser. I asked him to ball park his estimate prior to his report and he said high teens, and built his report to reflect his foresight a common error most appraisers make.
Instead of having a calculation to add or subtract value. You can expect Norms bias and lack of real world credentials to influence his opinion.
Hopefully Norm is a better engineering than business man.
I have never dealt with a person so high on his horse that his estimate is final say.
He also told me that he just does an average with comparables. A qualified appraiser makes adjustments based of variables. Don't expect a modern approach or opinion.
Call another company that didn't pay google to have his bane pop up first. This doesn't mean you'll get quality service.
