★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of our favourite parks for long walks during various seasons and most recently for BBQing.
It’s also connected to Mooney’s Bay and Hog’s back parks which makes for a lovely long stroll.
There’s plenty of benches and seating plus outdoor grills available for BBQs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my *favorite* park in Ottawa - so much amazing green space, with plenty of seating. Fantastic bike paths that make it easy to get around the park in a mobility device, or just go for a walk (or a bike ride :). In terms of accessibility, there are accessible washrooms on site, as well as several barrier free entrances to the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderfully large park, close to the Rideau River and Hog's Back falls, with space for all. Copiously long trails, thickets of tall trees to explore or hide, and modern facilities.
Wide open spaces nestle up to shady tree areas, with ample picnic tables and facilities. There's even a bandstand you can rent!
A beautiful green gem minutes from downtown, and for the city!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to check out the park for an afternoon BBQ. They are having a little fire pits/grills there that have adjustable grates that are perfect for charcoal briquettes. The washroom was extremely clean for a public park and the area was maintained extremely well. Beautiful Park, I will return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked through the park in the rain today. The path along the Rideau River through the park is blocked near the Trillium Line construction site is now blocked till next year. It is still a nice park to walk through.
Still some colour as all the leaves have not fallen yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heaven for picnic lovers. This park has controlled countless number of picnic tables, all well maintained and distanced. Restrooms are clean and has access to scenic trails. No wonder it has paid parking but well worth the cost. Clean and well maintained park. Will definitely visit again with family and friends.
