★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEWARE OF UNETHICAL FINES
I was very disappointed this summer when visiting The Village of Harrison with my family. After a day enjoying the local businesses and natural activities I was shocked to find a parking ticket on my vehicle placed over my valid parking pass. The Village is in partnership with Precise Parklink to enforce payment for parking of guests yet defers to Precise for disputes. I presented these images to both Precise and the Village in an unsuccessful attempt to get this resolved. Unfortunately, the only direction I received from the village was a explanation of the dates pay parking is in place and a map of free parking locations. I am now left with the conclusion that if I choose to visit Harrison in the future I risk an arbitrary $100 fee anytime I visit even after they have collected parking fees from me. This seems to be a very unethical cash grab from both parties and will influence my future decisions as to where my family spend our summer days and our summer entertainment funds.
