★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this coffee shop is the perfect balance between bookstore and cafe! Parallel Coffee was on point. The cinnamon bun left more to be desired. Could have used a frosting. Overall the atmosphere made the visit enjoyable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've recently been purchasing coffee at Village books! Their coffee is fantastic way better than Starbucks! When visiting Steveston I highly recommend getting coffee here instead of the run of the mill Starbucks coffee! Currently, I keep ordering Americano misto and it is made with parallel 49 coffee:-) way way better than Starbucks!
