What a great way to ease into the weekend. Enjoyed a wonderful meal and a beautiful backdrop in a very cozy Chelsea setting. I really enjoyed the brie and portobello mushroom panini on sweet potatoes bread with a beet and fig salad. A great meal for a warm and breezy summer evening. Worth noting a great selection of craft beers and summer wines are available to enjoy and soak in the ambience. Nice friendly vibe with cyclists popping in for a refreshment. If you are visiting Chelsea or live in Chelsea pop in I think you will really appreciate the quality experience.

Great little bike destination to have a delicious lunch. Personable atmosphere, quality food at a good price and service with a smile. Highly recommend. PS I'm a vegetarian and there are many options.

Don't know what they're like normally, but we ordered lunch via Ma Cabane a la Maison. Apart from the ambiance of eating at home, it was the best sugar shack breakfast I've had in years and there was lots of food. Between two adults and a child we got through maybe half the four person meal. The meats (bacon, ham, ragout, and sausage) were all delicious, as were the beans and soup. Pancakes were appropriately fluffy and the sugar pie was tasty.

Recently had friends that had a wedding here. The venue is beautiful and the location seems great for pictures. The food was good generally, the steak was good and the vegetarian option was nice too, the salad was fine. Had a disappointing interaction with the chef/owner during the wedding reception. Nathalie shouted at me about opening the doors to the veranda during the reception, in an attempt to cool the dining room. There was also confusion about the open bar, resulting in my paying for my first few drinks, and I didn't get a refund... I also hear from other guests that they had bad interpersonal experiences with the owner too. . Staff were very friendly if a little slow, but understandable... Probably wouldn't recommend, which is unfortunate.

Six stars. Best breakfast possible. I dare you try maple syrup, on the sugar pie. Love this place. We come here every year.

***BE AWARE*** We put down a deposit of 2300$ to reserve the place and date for our wedding and we had to postpone a few times due to covid….in our contract it said it was non refundable, witch we understood…we reached out to the venue to see what options we have given the situation and they mentioned again it was non refundable and postponing would cost extra because it’s a new year…(again we had to postpone due to covid restrictions) We have not heard back from them since last November….they are not returning our calls or email’s….I get COVID was hard on businesses but it was hard on us to! 2300$ is not something we want to just throw away…. **ALSO, the owner wrote us back saying to send proof of payment because she couldn’t find it and when we did send the proof they never wrote back or returned the calls. ON TOP OF THAT, the contract is no longer accessible.

Was at this place 3 years ago and had an amazing time. This year we were excited to bring 2 oth couples with us and were completely embarrassed we reccomed it. The food was atrocious, completely different than last time. Atmosphere was not the same, and does were running around the food and plates. Completely unsanitary. Sent an email to the place to explain our experiance there, and they couldn't even take the time to respond. Do not waste your money here!!

I am reluctant to issue a one star rating at any time - never mind when m rating an establishment that has several great ratings - but ours was not one of those occasions. Firstly, we arranged to pick up our “sugar shack” meal for two at 11am a the Metro near our house - quite convenient. We arrived there at 11:15 to be told our delivery was not there so we called the place & had to do a 30 k round trip to Chelsea to pick it up (either that or do without). Not at all convenient. Secondly, My partner went in the building today to pick up our meal - nobody working there acknowledged or apologized for the lack of delivery or inconvenience - just ‘pay and leave’. Thirdly, the food itself was, to be kind, uninspired. It looked like high school cafeteria food - missing the sausages, the beans frozen rock hard - nothing wrong with the food - just very far from anything special. We ordered another box from a place near Lachute as a gift & it looked and tasted great - in other words, what we are used to. One last food note - the ‘sugar pie’ is about the size of a hockey puck. The rating is low because the entire experience was just mediocre and the establishment had chances to fix this and just totally passed on the opportunity. If these folks can’t get better organized and customer and service centric I don’t think they’ll be in this space much longer.
