★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VOR mountain is a destination for off-road enthusiasts, hikers, and horseback riders. Positioned above Perry Creek, near Cranbrook, it offers an expansive view of the St Mary's River valley, the Kootenay River Valley, and Perry Creek Valley. I visited in June of 2021 having driven up the Mountain service roads in my 92 Hilux Surf Diesel. If a person continues hiking along the ridge to the west, a trail suitable for foot, quads or horses leads down to a mountain lake.
