When I showed up for that appointment, they said that they did not have me in the schedule. Staff acted like I was a bother to them and were rude and not willing to accommodate. Will not be returning

My optometrist, Dr. Friessen, was friendly, explained everything in detail, and made my visit feel more than inviting. Thank you to the Vernon Optometry team!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently switched our family’s optical needs over to Vernon Optometry and it was the best decision. We have been blown away by the service, from the greeting at the front desk (which should be a given in any place of business, but often is not) to the assistants, to the optometrists. Just really superior service on top of a phenomenal selection of frames. And the icing on the cake is the atmosphere itself: bright, elegant, chic, modern and comfortable. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and I would happily give 10 stars if I could.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Despite the big professional building and the dozens of people that seem to work there, the service and attitude is far below acceptable. My wife ordered contacts that took months and months they never called she finally called them and it turned out they were in for pickup. We go to pick them up and this is recently, and they are still enforcing nonsense masking rules. There is no actual scientific data or studies to support masking. Not only this but when someone says they have an exemption, they should respect. The front counter staff was rude, confrontational and completely out of line. The optometrist was just fine but the support staff is awful find another place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my first visit with Dr. Amanda Farley. Not only does she have a 10/10 manner with clients but she is very knowledgeable. You can clearly tell she is passionate about her craft. I have seen several practitioners over the years but Dr. Farley gave me the most detailed, interesting and most comprehensive explanation and treatment for my eye challenges. I left feeling completely understood and with peace of mind. I strongly recommend this doctor.
