Bought their Basmati Rice...found a piece of hard plastic in it! This is NOT an isolated incident...where is this 'food' coming from and why aren't you being regulated by Health Canada?! You will be shortly. Don't respond with PR bs either. Just warning others

I bought "kadhai" of verka brand which went rusty after only one use. When I called the shop they tried to put it on me saying "you might have used steal wool or left in water". I mean it is supposed to be washed in water please give a good reason at least. Then I started checking further to report verka. I saw a lot of bad reviews here from people and I totally believe them. Some people got reply after 4 years "could we please have your contact to check further " bro really? Companies spend a lot of money for quality control and you are thinking consumer should give you reviews and then you gonna fix it? I am reporting this company, I don't accept bad customer service at all. After your reply I am writing this here because I think you don't know that we can't reply to your reply. This is not Facebook. I have already contacted the person who is wholesaler of verka and now I will be infroming Consumer Protection BC and Better Business Bureau. I already wasted my time informing the retailer I bought from. Now I have given the seller the information and time to solve this issue, according to the process of BBB it was my responsibility to let the business know about the situation. I already knew the dont want to help me, and I know you asked for the information only. Now you know your product has issues you will fix it or the shop I bought it from will stop ordering it. Customer is not your quality control guy, if you running a business you should know it. I hope you fix your company because I am not using verka ghee anymore after experiencing this and reading a lot of the reviews in this thread. People are getting insects in their food. What safety measure might look like I can imagine. Thanx for your efforts to inform me what kadhai difference is iron coating and blah blah.

Avoid them , quality is very poor , Food safety need to check how they make thier products

Kind attention @ Quality Department Bought Urad Dal packet of Verka brand(Swift current Walmart)it contains irritating quantity of black stones. I was wondering if this is a Verka Brand or profiteering lowly karyana shop.

I bought Verka Ghee and made gojiyas which turned out salty. Then I made gulab jamun and it was salty too. That is not as salt should not be in glee as we make patshad.right

Have been visiting Vancouver & other parts of Canada almost on yearly basis & always used to miss Indian Sweets, especially Malai Burfi of Haldiram as the sweets shops here offer Burfi of bad quality, attributing bad Quality Milk here. My exploratory nature coaxed me to try Verka Milk Burfi packed in an ordinary Transparent pack, as we were satisfied with Verka Deshi Ghee, and was surprised with the Taste ! It tasted much better than Haldiram's Burfi. Now, in future, I shall never bring Burfi from India rather take their Burfi back Home to offer to our Indian friends & family. Now, Canada is my 2nd Home. Thanks to Verka for their very best Quality & Services in Canada. For the last one week, I was trying to buy Verka Burfi to send that to my daughter in Texas, USA & visited many shops at Fraser's Str., they all refused saying all sold out due to Rakhi. As a last resort, I contacted Verka's office & was lucky to speak to their Sanjay Manchanda & requested him to help me get 1 1/2 kgs Milk Burfi, informing that nothing left at Fraser. He appreciated my liking for Verk's product & asked me to wait for 10 minutes to check where I can get them from. Well before 10 minutes, he returned my call ask asked me to pickup from Gateway Pizza asap. He told me that he has spoken to people there himself & they have assured to keep that for me. He asked me which other Sweets I tried of Verka, I said only Milk Burfi & nothing else. He asked me to call him after reaching Surrey so that he can guide me further. According, I visited Gateway Pizza today & called Sumit. He asked me to buy Milk Burfi from there, Kulfi from Walmart & other Sweets from Chalo Freshco. I followed his advice & bought lots of sweets of Verka Brand. Now, I shall not my most favorite Haldiram 's sweets of Sarita Vihar Branch, as their products are much superior. Thanks a lot to Sumit Manchanda for working so dedicatedly for Verka & guiding me to exclusive Sweets of Verka. Finally, I asked for a nice place for lunch, and as per his recommendations enjoyed super excellent Amritsari Kulcha-Chola at Ustad G. I had my super excellent weekend Courtesy Ustad Sumit ManchandaG !

Misplaced a part. The president of the company contacted me and shipped the part for free which I received within 2 days. I always recommend Verka products as they have great quality and they do care about their customers.

We bought verka desi ghee from walmart. When we opened it, it was bubbling inside the container and the smell was awful. It seems like artificial ghee and not real one. It turned the halwa I made, awful smelling. Please guys don’t get trapped in their low ghee prices, there is something to it. Thanks
