★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful oasis overlooking the Brilliant suspension bridge and the confluence of the Columbia and Kootenay rivers. Immaculate gardens and helpful explanation of a Doukhobor tragedy. Big shout-out to Victor, the polite and knowledgeable young lad who was overseeing the property during our visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Out of the way memorial to the Doukhovors. Beautifully maintained by volunteers. Steep staircase to the memorial or if you cannot do stairs, there is a rather steep windy soft gravel path to a small parking lot.
