If you find yourself in a city where you want to ride but don't have your bike and don't know your way around, absolutely recommend signing up to Veloguide. Easy, friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole experience utterly enjoyable and all about the ride and not the headaches.

Matt did a great job communicating meet up details and accommodating us on our ride. He was friendly and fun. He gave us great information about Bend and the surrounding area. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up."

"People cycle for many reasons! Some people like the social aspect, others train for races or PR's, some like to suffer, and a select few do it as an art form. For each unique person each pedal stroke, revolution, and gear shift is predicated on a single factor of those above, but for Allison, it's a conglomerate! I took Allison's suggestion and dropped in early (pre-ride) at Red Horn Coffee House & Brewing Co for a single shot of espresso. She had mentioned their coffee was 'great,' but I would have to disagree-- it was ridiculously amazing! Fruity, acidic and full of body. The route was well planned, and the pace was friendly and casual. Confession. I cycle where it's mostly flat, the Rio Grande Valley, so what native Austinites consider 'everyday' terrain can be challenging. So I saved my breath for the hills and had to apologize for being a bit short on the conversation. The (tour) ride was, of course, filled with long rolling hills, lush green scenery and plenty of local insider tidbits. Would you expect anything less? The ride unfolded in three parts; 1) a spin down a main artery freeway with a dedicated bike path, 2) some miles through the countryside, 3) and a return through fast rolling tree covered trails back to Red Horn. I highly recommend you book Allison whether you're a local and especially if you're coming from out of town! You won't be disappointed and don't expect anything less than the best."

Earlier this year I completed my second trip to Mazatlán riding with Carlos. Last year I did his short introductory ride to Noria and longer ride to Isla Piedra. This year he took me climbing in the Siera Madra Occidental. From Concordia to Santa Lucia, we climbed over 5,000 feet in 25 miles. On the descended back to Concordia, we stopped in the quaint village of Copala. On the second day we again did the ride to Isla Pierda complete with the boat ride across the bay back to Mazatlán. Carlos is well connected and a leader in the local bicycle community. He is a strong rider and always set the pace based on my ability. Both years he supplied a great rental bike and provided a safe authentic local riding experience"

Spent three great days cycling with Andrew. Very strong rider who catered to my pace perfectly. Set out excellent, interesting routes that only a local could know. Andrew is friendly, outgoing and a real pleasure to ride with. Strongly recommend reaching out to him.

Phil took Chris and I on a great tour around Malibu. He is a great guide and flat tire hero! He insisted on changing Chris' flat, even though Chris is a former mechanic, and did it in no time. He showed us a couple places to get water up in the mountains which is a lifesaver for us Northerners. This will come in handy as we are already planning our next trip to the LA area! Thanks Phil and VeloGuide :) Amy & Chris.

Roman arrived at the front door of my hotel with a rental bike right on time. He had an awesome route planned through Key Biscayne and the southern parts of Miami giving me tons of history lessons about the area. We kept a fantastic pace, wasn’t too slow that we didn’t get to see everything, but wasn’t so fast that it was sufferfest. We finished our ride with a nice coffee break in the Wynwood area. The ride was the highlight of my weekend trip to Miami. I can’t wait to do another Veloguide for my next vacation.

David provided an exceptional experience right from the booking. He was in touch immediately after booking to confirm proper sizing and fit for my rental bike. When I arrived at the shop my bike was set up per my measurements and everything from water bottles to nutrition was provided for me. Our tour took us to the Highlands for some climbing and great views. David clearly communicated what was coming ahead and made sure the tight turns on the descents were executed at a safe but fun speed. Most importantly I felt safe – as a single female traveller it is nice to have a local on your side. Great conversation, multiple eagle sightings, & coffee en route made for a fabulous day. I will most certainly be looking to book again my next trip to Victoria. Thanks David
