★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice place to visit with your kids .. You can just drive 2 mins from the place and you will find the corn maze where you will find a loft of activities.
There is no restaurants or coffee shops nearby .need to access to the village

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an outing to Vegreville to see the largest Ukrainian Easter Egg in the world. Lots of the small businesses were closed on Good Friday. It is a charming town well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great day visiting Vegreville with my brother who lives in Edmonton. Alberta has many "world's biggest" attractions, this is one of the best ones yet. The Easter egg is actually a weather vane and spins with the wind direction. The area is beautiful with a small waterway and there are free boat rentals too. The stats on the egg are very impressive, you wouldn't think that this much technology was used to put this idea into fruition. I never said wow, so many times while reading the inscription about the egg. Alberta has a huge Croatian history and this is an amazing testament to them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small town in Alberta. Has the biggest easter egg as google tells you. Its a beautiful 100 km drive from Edmonton. A day drive. City has plenty of restaurants etc too. So you can have a good time with family and friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What is not to love about this massive Pysanka? Happy we made a detour to check it out as it is a neat site to see and kind of fun. Would recommend others visit as well if given the chance. Note there is no information or washroom outside the summer months.
