Vaughan Gymnastics Club

My daughter just had her birthday party there today. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Quick and clean set up, very welcoming to the kids. They explained everything that was going to happen and the kids had a lot of fun. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My son has been training in the boys competitive programme and the professionalism, commitment, coaching and progression has been outstanding! Since Covid 19 the club has gone above and beyond to make it a safe place for the children to train. I also have two young daughters who are in the recreational programmes and they have thoroughly enjoyed their experiences. I highly recommend Vaughan Gymnastics Club to anyone new or those looking to take their gymnastic skills to the next level!

I would give this gym a 4 STAR out of 5 if I was just rating the facility, the equipment and the general coaching staff. My daughter was a part of the competitive gymnastics program, and absolutely loves the sport, her teammates and her coach. So why the 2 STARS? The Ownership and management!!! We just paid our money and my daughter would go to gymnastics every week and we never had to deal with management until recently. They are so unprofessional in how they deal with parents and customers that I can no longer support this business. They are rude, cold, insincere and I have witnessed the owner treat parents, staff members and the young athletes of the gym with complete lack of respect...which is just terrible! I would give 0 STARS for management if I could!!! We all send our children to places so that they have fun and enjoy their overall expereince there. It's a good thing that the Owner/Management does not interact with the kids very much otherwise more parents would likely pull their kids from this club as it is completely unacceptable. Businesses are suffering right now during this COVID period and this business in no exception. They should be going further above and beyond in their customer service to attract new and existing customers to return to their club. ...But they are not...they continue to carry an attitude of disrespect not just to me, but to numerous other families I have spoken with. If you want your child to continue to grow in this sport and you will be dealing with the club for many years to come, there are other great gymnastics clubs in GTA with people skills ....and one that you would be happy to support.

Outstanding experience during covid . The coaches went above and beyond to explain and coach the kids through this. Even now I couldn't feel safer with my kids in this environment. They are always responsive to any issues / questions I may have and revert so quickly. Great gym

As a coach there ... I was always informed of any issues or changes! The children were our number priority, making sure they are safe!!! I was recently in the gym to see how things are and I have to say that they are doing a great job following the government’s safety protocol. They are cleaning on a hourly basis and making sure everyone is okay!!! I am proud of Vaughan Gymnastics! During this time of COVID-19 it has not been easy and with extra pressure, they are doing amazingly!! As a parent, I would feel comfortable on my son going there! I was reading some of the reviews about the smell of the gym. I worked at other gym and they have the same smell. It’s do the chalk that the kids use on equipment so they do not slip. We have to understand and work together during this difficult time.

the last 30 days of reviews are being censored and hidden/deleted. They are removing negative reviews. Vaughan is practicing medical discrimination and tyranny on children and parents. They are not pro-choice.

This place is run by horrible people. My two kids have been attending this gym for around a year. My 4 year old son recently developed a pretty serious skin reaction and was told by 2 separate doctors that he can no longer wear a mask as it is making his condition worse by the day. After informing their program director about his condition and providing the two doctors notes exempting him from wearing a mask, they have chosen to discriminate against my son and asked that we pull him out of the program. Forget the fact that they are forcing young kids to wear a mask while exerting themselves, they will not let my son attend their gym because he is not able to cover his face due to a serious skin reaction shown in the attached image. This is discrimination by definition. This is absolutely criminal. Remember this is a 4 year old boy who has been forced to mask up while being physically active, which is a company policy and not Ontario guidelines. I am absolutely disgusted by this experience and wanted to share this as I hope you never have to look your kids in the eye and tell them they are not welcome somewhere because of their medical status.

I have trained at Vaughn Gymnastics for almost 8 years now. The staff there have pushed me to become great and have shaped into the man I am today. The spotting and help I receive is phenomenal and the coaches are just incredible. The equipment there has been well taken care of and everything is always throughly cleaned. It has helped me face my fears, and become the person I have always wanted to be. Vaughn Gymnastics also has a very caring atmosphere and all the coaches are always so helpful and really care deeply for their gymnasts. I am so grateful for this place. Would recommend to anyone.
